Reason

How can our small and seemingly futile efforts have any effect when we look at the sheer size of the problems we are facing.

This is my personal effort to say “Please do not ignore our world, we can all do something; we all have individual strengths. “

I hope some of you will be moved by it enough to go out and do your own thing, something that will
bring the plight of our planet to others. Hopefully you will be able to do something with other people, because we will only be able to stop the destruction of the planet working together . There is no hero out there in the wings waiting to save our world, just us.

We do it for our children and grandchildren.

We all have the ability to help future generations it will be the most selfless thing we have ever done because we will not see the benefits of it in our life time, it is what makes us human.

I think the real difference; the real effect will be on ourselves if we do more. How we feel about ourselves whatever the outcome. We will regain some of our self respect and respect for the world around us.

But to do this we must change our lives significantly because the planets dilemma is so urgent. Our current situation is summed up well by Father Thomas Berry
